For the past 9 years Curt Chaplin has been the courtroom reporter on the nationally syndicated TV hit "The People's Court". His voice is heard outlining the cases and he is seen on-camera interviewing litigants in the hallway after each verdict. Curt brings more than 25 years of broadcast experience to the role.

Chaplin's TV debut came in 1989 hosting the NBC Network sports trivia game show, Grandstand, produced by Major League Baseball. He then took the reins of the fast-paced quiz show, Designated Hitter, on ESPN. Curt has also appeared on Comedy Central, HBO and in several national commercials.

Curt's history as a broadcast journalist has taken him from Yankee Stadium to the Olympics, from the crime beat to City Hall, with stops in Moscow, Berlin, Yugoslavia and Lake Placid along the way. New York radio listeners remember Curt for six hilarious years as the unpredictable, tell-it-all sportscaster and sidekick on WNEW-FM's top-rated Rock 'n Roll Morning Show. Prior to that, he broadcast news and sports at most of New York's major radio stations and networks where he worked alongside Howard Cosell, Howard Stern, Don Imus and many others.

One of the most sought after voices in commercials, Curt is heard on dozens of radio and TV spots and promos for NBC's Today Show and Warner Bros. Television. As the lead voice of Major League Baseball Productions he has narrated numerous home video releases including the 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 World Series, Generations of Heroes, Unhittable, Superstar Shortstops, Awesome All Star Action, Hitters on Hitting and will soon be heard narrating the upcoming documentary, Pure Heat. When not behind the mic, Curt can usually be found in Central Park playing softball. Curt lives in Manhattan with his wife, Amy (also an Ohio U. alum), and their two children, Cam and Jake.
