NAME: Dave Frishberg
What did you do after Athens? My first real job after O.U. was driving
a taxi in New York City. I then spent two years working for the government in
Oklahoma and Utah. While I was in Utah I was a member of the Pan World (semi-pro)
soccer team. I left Utah for Southeast Asia where I spent five months traveling
in Thailand (as a guest of one of my Pan World teammates), Indonesia, Singapore,
Malaysia (where I spent a month working on a fishing trawler), and Hong Kong.
Then back to the states for Blender's (first) wedding, four months across North
Africa, three years in Jerusalem, law school, 20 years in the Air Force, and now
with the U.S. Army. Career United States Air Force, Judge Advocate General's
Corps - Retired career Air Force Officer. Career highlights include deploying
to Iraq, serving as presiding official of 25 NATO-led nations Claims Commission
in Zagreb, Croatia, and serving as Air Force observer of the 9-11 Commission.
Presently, Chief of Administrative and Civil Law at Walter Reed Army Medical Center,
Washington, D.C. Prior to career in law, I was a journalist and photojournalist
living in Jerusalem, Israel running a small English language newspaper and contributing
to the Jerusalem Post, United Press International, Time, and National Geographic.

of Egypt, and Peru's Inca Trail. " Surviving a Katushya rocket attack in Lebanon
and a bombing in Jerusalem. " Photographing all U.S. Presidents since Nixon (including
Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office), eight Israeli Prime Ministers, President Sadat
of Egypt, hundreds of other public figures, and numerous national and international
news events. " Being sworn in as a member of the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court
